From 1993-1997, O'Malley portrayed Sgt. Patrick Harper in this BBC television production.

JANUARY 2006 - NEW - Sharpe's Challenge has finished filming and is currently in post production. The film is due to be released in the UK on July 1.

MARCH 2005 - NEW - Sharpe will return after an eight-year hiatus with filming due to commence in India in October with three 90-minute films.  Sean Bean returns as Sharpe as well Daragh O'Malley as Harper. Filming will take place in Jaipur. Sharpe has sold into 70 countries and is Carlton Television's most successful television franchise.
