After appearing in the original TekWar movie (and two of its three followups--TekLab and TekJustice) Maurice Dean Wint then became a semi-regular in the TekWar television series. Portraying Police Lieutenant Winger, an android with an apparent grudge against humans--particularly Jake Cardigan, Wint starred in six of the 18 series episodes: Deadline (my favorite--natch!), Carlotta's Room, Deep Cover, Zero Tolerance, Skin Deep, and Betrayal.

Wint's portrayal of an android was dead on, comparing most favorably with well-known android interpretations such as Rutger Hauer's in Blade Runner. Winger is often confused by human behavior, as exhibited in his conflicting displays of contempt, puzzlement, and pity? for them.
