Run (1991).  Portrays Smithy,  a weak and corrupt cop who assists (albeit reluctantly) in attempts on behalf of a local crime lord to kill an innocent man for the $50,000 "reward."  Result: Death by smushing.

Young man falsely accused of killing has to evade both goons and bad cops.  Lots of action, some good cinematography, but uneven writing...tries unsuccessfully to mix light humor with deadly situations.
