A Christmas Romance (1994).  Portrays Mr. Macklin, nice guy owner of the local lumber company.  Result: What every single viewer knew from the first minute...a happy--no, make that perfect--ending.

Incredibly sappy tale of a widow with two children who loses her job at Christmas, and then finds out she's also going to lose her home.  Whatever you do, don't let anyone watching ingest any sugar during this movie; dire hypoglycemic-related consequences may occur.  Uses every tear-jerker element in the book.
