Deadlock 2 (1995).  Portrays Senator Don Boyd, a corrupt politician involved in shady dealings with a ruthless businessman.  Result: No "Pretty in Pink" present for Don.

Prisoners in the future are held captive not by walls, but by electronic collars which kill them if they pass beyond certain boundries. Same concept was used earlier in "The Running Man" but to a lesser degree.  Good production values, attractive leads, and a great smarmy villain...better than expected.
