The Sea Wolf (1993).  Portrays Latimer, helmsman and crew member of the "Ghost," a ship hunting seals.  Result: Murder, mutiny, and man-eating sharks.

Lots of familiar faces in this film.  Hard to go wrong with a story set at sea. This one is a good character study, even if a bit tidy.
