The Glitter Dome (1984).  Portrays Farrell, father of a young girl whose involvement in the world of prostitution may bring about her death. He therefore takes drastic measures to protect her from harm.  Result: All is forgiven (sort of).

This movie's dated production values keep it from holding up well; however, its twisted version of a happy ending helps somewhat.  McBeath excelled in his role, easily matching Garner in their scenes together.
