A Murder on Shadow Mountain (1999).  Portrays Oregon District Attorney Arthur DiMarco a man who, while not unsympathetic to a woman who tries to help her accused husband, seems at a loss as to how to deal with her naivete.

Another film, which while supposedly inspired by true events, is an overly emotional presentation about a man arrested for a murder comitted decades earlier.
