Goldrush: A Real Life Alaskan Adventure (1998).  Portrays Marshal Angus MacNeil, as well as the land office manager, in a small Alaskan town during its gold rush days.  Result: Low crime rate

Disney version of life during the Alaska gold rush.  Too sanitized to be taken seriously, but a nice family film for those who don't care about historical accuracy.  Good cinematography and production values.
